This is San Francisco: restaurants recognizing vets. My, how times change. When we came back from Vietnam, it was awful. Americans blamed us for the war. After Nam my best buddy, a Chinese American in military uniform could not get anybody in San Francisco to give him change to ride the bus.

A young WAC (Woman’s Army Corp) in the very last WAC class at Fort McCleland, AL. Thanks to all women veterans.
This wonderful volunteer greets Vets as they enter the San Francisco VA Medical Center. It is sometimes called Fort Miley by the old timers. Thanks for her selfless service and God bless her.
