GUNS...
In this file photo taken Feb. 25, 2010, Otis McDonald glances out the window in his south side home in Chicago. McDonald said he joined a federal lawsuit to challenge Chicago's 28-year-old handgun ban because he wants a handgun at home to protect himself from gangs. The Supreme Court held Monday June 28, 2010 that the Constitution's Second Amendment restrains government's ability to significantly limit 'the right to keep and bear arms,' advancing a recent trend by the John Roberts-led bench to embrace gun rights. Monday's decision did not explicitly strike down the Chicago area laws, ordering a federal appeals court to reconsider its ruling. But it left little doubt that they would eventually fall.

The New Supreme Court ruling on guns said little more than that there is a right to keep handguns in the home for self-defense(Source:nytimes.com).

I have no problem with someone like an Otis McDonald(a plaintiff in case) who wants a handgun at home to protect himself in his South Chicago neighborhood from thugs.

But let’s face it, there are some stupid people in America, like these people that want to use the open-carry laws to carry unconcealed weapons into businesses like Starbucks. Stupid!!! Stupid!!! Stupid!!!

I guess that one of the great things about America is that you can be stupid if you want too. Most of these idiots running around doing this call their weapons "guns". These people are probably a f…ing bunch of draft dodgers or they would refer to their firearms as weapons. Any military type in a thousand years would never say gun when he means weapon.

What idiot needs to be going into Starbucks with a concealed weapon on his side? It is the same as why would any citizen need an AK 47. Some of these nuts who are conspiracy theorists might, but the average Joe doesn’t need one.

The biggest selling weapon anyway on the black market is a sawed-off shotgun and any “Snuffy” can buy one. Who are they protecting?

Let’s face it: We Americans love our guns/weapons. I’ve got a few. But, WHY IN THE F… DO WE HAVE TO PARADE THEM AROUND?
