HYPOCRITES

There is nothing that I hate more than hypocrites. I don't give a flying f.... who they are.

I love the scene in my all-time favorite TV miniseries, Lonesome Dove, where Tommy Lee Jones playing ex-ranger, Woodrow Call, beats the bejangles out of an Army Scout for bullying Newt, one of the young cowboys.

When Gus, played by Robert Duvall, finally calms Call down, Call says to the gathered crowd, "I can't stand rude behavior and won't put up with it."

There you have it: translate this to hypocrites. This is one example of straight forward cowboy talk in the book or movie of straight shootin', no pun intended.

These cowboys "say what they mean and mean what they say"-not like too many in real life. Rush Limbaugh, for example-hypocrite to the max. I don't have to "rush" to judgement here. Limbaugh has done it for me.

Limbaugh's hypocrisy hit the shrill decibel because he paid Elton John, gay, one million bucks to sing at his wedding(His fourth marriage at 59 to a 33 year old woman ). Rush, who has made some unflattering comments about homosexuality and AIDS, hired Elton John. You couldn't make this stuff up. And, I guess Elton John is a hypocrite too, but he did get paid. (Hey,Elton and Rush have something in common, both are capitalists)

And, here's probably the real kicker: Limbaugh's faithful following will turn a deaf ear to the hypocrisy. What do they care? They love the guy and why should they let truth get in the way or said another way, "Don't confuse me with facts, I have my mind is made up."
