PLUG THE F'ING HOLE
The BP leaking oil well in the Gulf of Mexico is shown in this video frame grab on May 31, 2010. U.S. government and BP officials are warning that the blown-out oil well causing an environmental disaster on the Gulf Coast may not be stopped until August as the company begins preparations on a new attempt to capture the leaking crude REUTERS/Handout (UNITED STATES

You have got to be kidding me. Blaming the oil spill on the government is like saying the President caused a tornado-like blaming Bush for Katrina. We f--ked up in the response, but we have to get with it in getting the hole plugged. This blame game is a bunch of BS until this problem is fixed.

I am astounded that BP was not better prepared. The idea that you have to have a tragedy to be ready for a disaster like this is incomprehensible. But, regardless, get the hole plugged.

BP continued to f--k up after the spill. The oil company should have brought out suitcases of cash to pay anyone with a boat to start cleaning up. Those hired for the cleanup in this "should have been response" should have been paid more than they would ordinarily make. Amazing how “money” can cover a “multitude of sins.” This would have been a great gesture on BP's part.

What the hell! Let's try anything to clean up the oil spill. I’ve seen all kinds of ideas to help. Even if it sounds crazy, let's try it. Where are the BP thinking types?

The f’ing news media and what they cover is a lot of the problem. We all have to remember that the media is not in the “truth” business. They want a story. You shove a microphone in some oyster fishermam’s face and he’s going to tell you it’s the Presidents fault.

The reporter frames the question. “ What do you think of the President response?” The question is answered, filmed, and then edited. The reporter gets the answer he wants. (An oyster fisherman is probably not sophisticated in the ways of the media and his answer is edited or misinterpreted.)

What frustrates me is that the news media picks and chooses. They decide if a story is newsworthy. Thank the Lord for the Internet and blogs, etc.

By the way, whatever happened to Kevin Costner’s idea and plan. I have never heard any more.
