A Homeless VietVet?
a homeless vietvet in San Francisco

I usually give a guy a little test if he says he is a Vietnam vet. I asked him questions. What is his MOS (military occupational specialty)? There is not a soldier alive who can't tell you what his job was.

I ask, "What is his unit? "He should be able to tell this. Be specific. If he says 1st Cav, 101st, have to go further like giving his specific unit- for instance, B company, 2nd platoon.

I then ask "Where were you?" If he says something like, "all over," you know he's lying and so move out. Don't waste time if he can't answer the questions

The guy(in photo) was authentic. I gave him five bucks.
