More WingNuts

The "Wingnuts" are not slowing down. They are amazing if not downright f----ing annoying. I never listen to them, but recently had to be on a road trip for a few hours. It gave me a chance to do some comparison shopping among wingnuts.
Wingnuts by definition rant and rave, tell half-truths or out and out lie. What I hate is that their craziness is getting way to much press. Even the Prez alluded to them the other day when he talked about compromise and listening to the other side.
What the hell has Obama been smoking? Talk about California dreaming. Wingnuts are locked in concrete. It is, "Don't confuse me with facts, I have my mind made up."
I discovered in my limited research of four hours(driving down the road) that wingnuts on the left are often just as nutso in their extreme positions as the right. But, they are not angry or at least they don't appear to be. They are more philosophical: they are anarchists, socialists. They are purists on environmental issues and out of touch with most of our society.
(Mostly I listened to San Francisco's KPFA. They are an entire radio station of leftist wingnuts. My impression for a long time is that the KPFA wingnuts really believe their positions. Contrast this with wingnuts on the right. Hmmmmmm )
Wingnuts on the right, however, come across as really angry. Whether they believe their positions or not is questionable. Take a ranting loud mouth like Limbaugh. Does he really believe all that BS or does he think it draws in listeners? After all, they don't pay him millions to talk to himself.
I listened to the usual culprits, Limbaugh and some other guy (might have been Michael Salvage) who is a first class wingnut. They do nothing
but monologues and don't have guests. Their talk shows are continual ranting against immigration, the president, etc. Extreme positions on everything come spewing out of their mouths without taking a breath. How do people listen to such BS? I am trying not to be prejudice here but honestly, how do they listen?
