JUNO
Guest Reviewer: Lupe Jacobson
Review:
I thought Juno was an excellent movie. I agree with Opa(JA) that she was very clever and knew all the right things to say. But that could easily just be a very tricky, clever teenager, and I am sure there are people out there in the world who are this clever.
It also shows that not all teenagers are annoying, mean, rude, and disrespectful. I thought the music really set the scene and fit in. There are some very funny parts like when the runners always going by. The soon to be father (Jason Bateman) acted very well and I am happy with what they did to him; and, yes, they did trash him, but in the story it fits very well. Jennifer Garner played the mother-a very sensitive person who wants a child. She played the part really well.
I think that Juno's best friend Leah (Olivia Thirlby) really fit into the story and shows that Leah, not "the" cheerleader, but "a" cheerleader can be best friends with somewhat of a misfit.
The ending was great and I think that it was not one of those endings where you would sit there thinking that this could never happen. It was a reasonable ending. This movie doesn't leave you with a cliffhanger, but it does leave you thinking. Overall I think that the movie was great and you should definitely check it out and see it.
